Straight from the typing fingers of Junior Dodd, a reply to my enquiring about the future of Studio 1:

Easy Nuh, DJ. thank you for been straight up, Studio One will be a family again, with the right people in the right places, I can assure you that a lot of the long awaited releases will touch the market place, along with ventures that will enhance the catalogue, the label, the artistes, the musicians,and firmly establish the name of Coxsone Dodd.

Thanks for the info, Gordon mate - let's hope that when they do "touch the market", they'll be fairly easy to get hold of...

Yes, they'll need proper packaging and some attention to sound quality.

Let's hope there isn't too much of those 80s overdub reworks - I understand that about half of what was recorded at Studio 1 for Dodd was never released (can't remember where I read that), so thee's plenty of scope.
